Caulking
Caulking and sealants are a great way to prevent and alleviate damage caused by water on new and renovated buildings.
Rebfor has expertise in specialized repairs and maintenance on caulking and other sealants, selecting the best product for the job at hand. Our goal is to preserve the integrity of each building we work on by preventing many water-related issues.
We are uniquely qualified to install, remove, and/or replace caulk and sealant on high-rise buildings, reaching high windows, vents, and joints with safe and effective practices. We have competency and training in using bosun’s chair, rope descent systems including Industrial Rope Access (IRA), advanced fall protection systems, and anchorage systems, along with traditional lifts, ladders, scaffolding, and mechanical stage platforms. We additionally have Society of Professional Rope Access Technicians (SPRAT) and OSHA 10/30 certifications.
Extensive experience in the industry and regular training provides RebFor LLC with the expertise to ascertain the safest and most effective way to access exterior surfaces. Certifications and training are particularly important in commercial caulking where there are limited roof anchors or tie off points. In these cases, RebFor utilizes the appropriate mechanisms for access including: mobile roof rigs and parapet clamps. Mobile roof rigs and parapet clamps are only used if they meet OSHA and ANSI standards for fall protection and we take care to install them properly and inspect them prior to use. We carefully assess each project for factors such as roof anchor access, engineered structure weight limits, outreach needs, and necessary counterweight calculations, to ensure the safety of the building and workers, along with customer satisfaction.
RebFor, LLC is well versed in caulk and sealant application, removal, and replacement for new construction and building renovations.
